TAEIL Starter Motor

PRODUCT - STARTER MOTOR

Vehicle starting system · Starter motor

An engine-drive unit that uses magnetic-field solenoid power to start the vehicle. Together with the alternator it forms a critical electrical assembly, and TAEIL remanufacturing raises quality toward OEM level.

  • An engine starting motor with an electrical unit that produces torque and a mechanical unit that transmits it.
  • Amplifies small rotational force for the engine and protects the starter with an overrunning clutch.
  • One of the vehicle’s key electrical devices, remanufactured for reliable cranking performance.

QUALITY

Trusted quality and performance

Assembly is simpler than an alternator, but performance testing is more detailed and demanding.

  • Detailed testing Pass criteria are strengthened even though assembly steps are relatively simple.
  • Harsh conditions Strength and focus are improved so performance holds up in tough vehicle environments.
  • Advanced equipment State-of-the-art testers help close the perceived gap versus new units.
  • Strict pass criteria Performance inspection standards for quality approval are applied rigorously.

COMPONENTS

Key components

Armature / Solenoid

Armature

  • Acts as the armature wrapping the starter motor brushes and coils.
  • Consists of shaft, coil, and commutator; rotates through magnetic interaction.

Solenoid switch

  • Engages the pinion with the flywheel ring gear and also works as a relay for motor current.
Yoke / ORC

Yoke / Field coil

  • The yoke is the starter body and a path for magnetic flux.
  • Field coils on the iron core become an electromagnet when current flows.

Overrunning clutch (ORC)

  • Power transmission between the armature shaft and pinion.
  • Disengages when pinion speed exceeds armature speed to protect the starter.
